It does not have to be a gruelling jouney to, prosperity, or should I say more than enough.

Discovering The Laws of Prosperity and Wealth, is just the beginning of the journey. One day the richest man in babylon whose name was Arcad came into town. Bansir thougt to himself, each year his wealth increases more rapidly then he can spend it.

Friends that grew up with Arcad, come to him and wonder why it is they scrape by for a living while he enjoys such prosperity and abundance, their thoughts are simply it must be fate.

Arcad says, if you have not acquired more then a bare existence… it is because you have either failed to learn the laws that govern and build prosperity and build wealth, or else you do not observe them.

Arcad explains, to Bansir, I decided when I was young to, Discover The Laws of Prosperity and Wealth. I only needed 2 things to acquire my goal, time and study. So I set out to discover what it is that creates prosperity, abundance, and wealth.

Arcad begins the story of his jopurney to proserity and wealth. I got a job carving tablets and labored long hours each day, week, month…

One day a money lender came in to have some work carved. Arcad asked him the secret of building prosperity and wealth. He said, I found the road to wealth when I decided that, a part of all I earn was mine to keep. Arcad was like is that all. The money lender said it was enough to change the heart of a sheep herder into a money lender.

Arcad said, but all I keep is mine, is it not?

Do you not pay the garment maker, the food supplier, rent…can you live without spending? What do you have to show from your labors last month, last year… You pay everyone but yourself.

The money lender told me, if you kept one tenth for yourself what would you have in ten years. Arcad said, as much as I make in one year, and the lights began to burn bright in Arcads young mind.

That is but a half truth. Each gold piece you save is a slave to work, for you, every copper is it’s child, that also earns for you. To become wealthy, what you save, must earn, and it’s children must earn too. Money creating money, is true prosperity and wealth.

Then the money lender said to young Arcad, I am paying you a thousand times more if you grasp what I say. It must be no less then one tenth no matter how little you earn, and it can be more as you can afford. Pay Yourself First, and you will still have enough to pay for other things.

As the money lender revealed one of the secrets of prosperity and wealth, Arcad thought on this and made a decision that day. He began to hold one copper for every ten he earned. Often he was tempted to buy some of the goods the merchants displayed. But strangely enough he never missed the tenth he paid himself. For one year he was faithful to pay himself first.

Twelve months later the money lender returns and says, Well Arcad did you pay yourself? Yes! Well done you are, Discovering The Laws of Prosperity and Wealth, and you have begun well, now I have a question….

What is the take away from this story! One of them is certainly to seek wisdom from those that have learned the secrets of creating wealth and prosperity. People like Bob Proctor that have not only discovered the laws of prosperity and wealth, but mastered them.

Richest Man in Babylon and His Desire to Live and Prosper

The story of the Richest Man In Babylon, and desire to live and prosper takes place in ancient Babylon,and written in old english but well worth the effort to understand, pretty easy to be honest with you!

Bansir was a young man with a family. His occupation was a chariot maker.Unhappy with his lot in life, he was barely making ends meet by making stuff for rich people. One day his best friend asks to borrow money. Bansir refuses because his purse is empty of coin. Everything now revolves around not having enough money to do as he desires.

He begins to tell his friend of a dream he had. In the dream he had a fat bag of gold coins hanging from his belt. He freely gave to beggers and all that had a need, he was a generous person. Then he woke up and remembered, his bag was empty. A feeling of rebellion swept over him.

He told his friend that they lived in the richest city in all the world yet they had little, sometimes nothing,and sometimes not enough to make ends meet. He reminded his friend they had earned many coins over the years, yet they had nothing today. Why, even his friend was asking for money.
 
Then Bansir makes a profound statement, Why cannot we aquire silver and gold, more then enough for food and robes? Will our children follow in the footsteps of thy father too? I wish to be a man of means, to own lands and cattle, fine robes, and coins in my purse.

He was dissatisfied working year after year and yet not able to acquire gold as others do. Bansir had a Desire to Live and Prosper, to become the Richest Man in Babylon.

Then Bansirs friend Kobbi, makes another profound statement, Might we not find out how others acquire gold and do as they do? Perhaps there is some secret we might learn if we but sought from those who know?

With that, they set out to ASK for wisdom from those that were wealthy.

Here is one of the sayings in The Richest Man In Babylon Book, A fat purse quickly empties if there is no golden stream to refill it.

Here are some of my thoughts on Bansir’s journey so far:
He was dissatisfied with where he was at in life. This is not really a bad thing unless you make it a negative. His situation caused him to dream of something better. Than he took action. How? He began to ask the right questions. That caused him to seek out the right answers that could make his Dreams in life come alive.

Dissatisfaction – can lead to indifference. You can use it as a stepping stone rather than a millstone, move ahead rather than being overcome by your present situation.

Dream – There are people that have pipedreams, you know, they wish and hope that one day things will change and get better. They leave life to, whatever will be will be. Than there are those that are propelled forward to make things happen, and to change their lot in life. It is a choice! Some people let things happen “to” them, rather than “for” them. Where are you at in life, and what is your choice? Wishing will never get you to where you want to be in life, but choices will.

Desire – There is more to life than just making ends meet. The desire for something better is the gasoline in your engine that will thrust you forward at warp speed with seemingly very little effort, if you allow it to. Keep desire on the front burner of your heart, so that your dream is always boiling over.

Direction – When you begin to ask different questions, the right questions, you will head in the right direction, choices will be different, and the outcome will also be different.

Your mindeset begins to change and your expectation level begins to rise, and suddenly things are different, better, and good.The Richest Man In Babylon and His Desire To Live and Prosper is a guidebook that will keep you on the right path, the path to prosperity.

Richest Man In Babylon Book – Creating Prosperity and Abundance part 1

Part 1

Richest Man In Babylon Book has to be one of the best books of all time on the subject of creating Prosperity, abundance, and gathering wealth.

I rarely read a book more than once let alone several times, but this is an exception. The Richest Man In Babylon by George S. Clason is amazing and worth having in your library.

I have recommended it to many of my friends and I know that if you apply the principles in it, your personal finances will grow. It is actually a fast read, and quite an adventure.

I wanted to create a review or kind of a mini course to help get you going on the road to creating prosperity and abundance. So I will give you some prosperity nuggets that, for me were eye opening. They are things said in such a way that makes you thirsty for the next chapter.

OK, ready!

Let’s get started.

Let me introduce you by way of the setting. It happens in ancient Babylon. A young man with a family loses everything, a little piece at a time. Finally he cannot pay his debt and finds himself in much trouble.

He flees the city, and leaves his family behind, much to his despair. He finds himself in a worse situation, even to the point of starvation. Things continue to spiral downward and out of his control. Finally he is enslaved. All along the way he has teachers that give him the secrets of wealth, but for one reason or another he chooses to ignore and forget them.

In the richest man in babylon a young man wanted to learn the secrets of Creating Prosperity and Abundance, but he found himself headed in the opposite direction. One day something amazing happens and his whole life is changed. I will share his journey from poverty, and being a slave to debt, to becoming the richest man in his land.

Let’s begin tracing his steps! Some of this will be written is older english so as to keep accuracy of the book. Here are seven things that will transform your life and unleash prosperity!

“Lo, money is plentiful for those who understand the SIMPLE rules of acquisition”

1. Start thy purse to fattening

2. Control thy expenditures

3. Make thy gold multiply

4. Guard thy treasures from loss

5. Make of thy dwelling a profitable investment

6. Insure a future income

7. Increase thy ability to earn

Now, let’s go through these seven things so that you have an idea of how to put them into place in your life. We will do that by tracking this young man’s journey as he navigates through debt, poverty, peril, and finally pays his debtors, and moves into prosperity at the same time.

I think you will find yourself in his shoes at times, and you will gain wisdom and insight that will help you navigate your journey without all the heartache.

Once I knew my value, instead of believing what others had stamped on my life, something amazing happened. My feelings were through roof with excitement.

Whewhoooo!

Immediately life was much different! Now ideas were coming to me. Ideas that would create prosperity in my life, and that would bless my family. It was incredible, miraculous, life changing, transforming…

I also discovered a secret within Inner Prosperity.

I had been using credit cards in emergencies, and borrowed money with a second mortgage just to finish fixing a house we were going to sell.

Here is the secret. When you discover your worth, I mean your real true value (read part 1 to really get this), immediately life will be different, and yes, I do mean immediately!

Here it is, do not miss it, you will no longer run around trying to stop the bleeding for the
Moment, you know living and working to pay bills.

That is not life!

You can expect to be filled with ideas that will create “prosperity” in your life. You will
be pregnant with abundance. I began to notice abundance all around me. It sounds crazy, but the stars, water, trees… the finances that were around me.

I now saw way more than enough. Abundance surrounded me. I stopped focusing on lack. I let the negative go.

Why?

Because it shackled me to, never enough.
I let it go in my thoughts, my choices, my feelings, every part of my being. So what do you believe your value is?

When you really ponder this you will be stunned at your “true value” and it will be life
changing.

Have you let go of the old mindset?

Are you willing to let go of, not enough, or even things like, if you get a raise the money will be gone, something will break down, you will be downsized.

By the way, when you discover the power of the dynamic law of “inner prosperity”, don’t be surprised when the magic happens around you. Remember, expect results, it will come.

Ok, you get my point, do not let others tell you what your value is. Discover your inner prosperity, it will change your life and those around you!

Remember in part 1, it was negative people that cause you to not believe your true value? Well part 2 is quite different, it is negative thinking that distorts your true value!

Negative people lack inner prosperity, and they do not grasp their true worth. I remember complaining that I could never get ahead. Every time I would get some extra money, I just knew that something would break down, and I would be broke again.

I was getting behind on everything. No matter what I did, I could not get ahead, more money was never enough to stop the bleeding, let alone get ahead. I was pregnant with, not enough. I was full of, lack and scarcity. It consumed me. I thought about it all the time, debt, bills, not enough….

Then I discovered that the issue was not on the outside, it was on the inside. I was seeing lack, and not enough, everywhere I looked. I discovered inner prosperity and its dynamics. Things changed or did they? I started seeing abundance all around, I mean everywhere.

I literally became pregnant with abundance. Yea, yea I know, I am a man, but you get my point. My mind was no longer a junk yard. I let all the negative stuff go like, how will I pay… there is not enough…what if…. I let it all go, and I focused on discovering my true value, not what others thought I was worth.

Part 1
Inner Prosperity is a dynamic law that has immediate and astounding results. What you have in your life today, was inside you at one point in time. This may sound strange but it is true. You are pregnant today with what will be in your life tomorrow, your future. You will live up to what is on the inside of you.

Here is an example:
Your boss may think you are worth $10 an hour. Or maybe your company says you are worth $30k a year. So you mold your choices, thoughts, and feelings around, What Others Think you are worth.

The dynamic law of inner prosperity means you decide what your value is. When you decide your value, everything and everyone around you will change. Sounds funny, but people will say to you, you are different, what has happened? Your value begins to increase, at work at home…

I was at a hardware store figuring out what kind of wood floor I wanted. A guy I had never seen before came over and said, I would like to offer you a job. I will pay you $15 an hour.

Out of curiosity I asked, what kind of work is it? Then I said, I don’t know how to lay wood floors. He said I will teach you, and I will make it $20 an hour. I had never seen this guy in my life and he offers me a nice paying job.

I said, you are kidding? He said, when can you start? I said, you do not even know me. Then he said something that got my juices flowing.

He said, when I saw you, there was just something about you. I said thanks, but did not take the job! Wow, talk about immediate results. I had just started practicing what I am saying in this article, Inner Prosperity, it really is a dynamic law. So, as you apply this law, when can you expect results?

Immediately! 

Remember, all true laws or principles begin to work the moment they are put into place. Ok, now for the test. Without thinking too hard, what is your Inner Prosperity, your true worth? Not what others say, but what you believe. Don’t worry if it is not as high as you would like, because you can change it!
